Weekend Reading

I’m going to be in Atlantic City with my girlfriends this weekend for the 6th Annual Celebration of Suds. (Don’t worry, you will hear all about it when I get back.) In the mean time, I encourage you to check out some other bloggers.

If you will notice on the right hand side of the screen, there are two blocks called Class Blogs and Stuff I Read.

Class blogs is a listing of links to the blogs of my class mates. Each of them has been working just as hard as I have to keep up with their blogging, so stop by and take a look at what they have to offer.

Stuff I Read is a listing of links to blogs I read from time to time. I know the writers behind Ms. Suazo, Super Dylan, Spill the Greens, and The Catskill Maison in real life and like what they are blogging about.

  • Ms. Suazo grew up next door to me and is now embarking on a career in Social Media. Her Starbucks Coffee Name posts are always entertaining. In addition, she’s lost 51lbs and counting which continually inspires me to keep going on my weight loss quest.
  • Super Dylan’s Dad is actually one of my coworkers on the west coast. He uses his website to keep friends and family scattered across the world up to date on is going on with his son’s fight against brain cancer. This is not a depressing blog! Learn about Dylan, his family and how they stay positive during this struggle. (At the very least, stop by and see Dylan’s Older brother Chandler’s cover of  “I Saw Her Standing There” at the school talent show)
  • Spill the Greens’ author went to high school with me (she was a year older, but her sister was in my grade). She is now a registered nurse, mother of two of the most adorable kids, has her own Shaklee business, and has the greatest smoothie recipes ever!
  • Catskill Maison just posted their recipe for Josephine’s Macadamia White Chocolate Coconut Cookies the other day and I swear they are worth every calorie. Plus, if you are looking for a great place to stay in the Catskill Region of NY, their blog is connected to their website and can reservations can be made on line

The others I subscribe to because I like what they have to say, as well as the helpful hints they provide.

There are some quality things you can learn from all these bloggers so please click on a link and explore!!

Make sure you do your reading, there will be a quiz when I get back!

Just Kidding! Have a great weekend!
