Souzapalooza’s Laundry is “Unstopable” Thanks to Downy

August 30, 2011

A few weeks I received a free sample of “Unstopables” by Downy. It is an in-wash scent booster. Now for the record, I have not been paid or endorsed in any way by Downy or P&G to review this product. I actually came across the information on how to request a sample on a free sample website, I was not sent one as a blogger.

All that being said, I am in LOVE with this product! Why you ask? Since actually using in over a week and a half ago, my clothes still smell dryer fresh. ALL my clothes, including my gym clothes that usually emit an oder that would repel most skunk trainers, cheese mongers, and sewage workers immediately after a run, let alone after sitting in my laundry basket for a few days! This stuff is amazing.

Unstopables is used in conjunction with your other laundry products (detergent, fabric softener, ect). You can toss a little or a lot in to your laundry load (depending on your fragrance needs) and that is pretty much it. Very little effort is required for a scent that has surpassed my fragrance expectations. I bought the “Fresh” scent bottle at target for $7-ish dollars (I tossed the receipt don’t recall the exact price! Sorry!) They also have a Lavender scent as well.

If you don’t believe me? You can check out their commercial with comedienne and author,  Amy Sedaris:

Has anyone tried the Unstopables yet? Anyone have any “must try” products this week?

Letting Go Of Clutter

August 16, 2011

I need to get my apartment in order. It is getting a little out of control. I have never been a good house keeper, I think it runs in my family. My mom was never the most organized, and I am not going to even discuss the mess that my grandmother left behind. Being home most of the time now, I really have no excuse. I need to deal with this mess!

One of the problems is that I live in a small space with a lot of stuff. I think it might be time to do a summer sweep. I’m going to focus on decluttering my apartment, getting rid of the stuff I really don’t need (Like why do I have 4 lap tops bags when I never really take my laptop out of the house?) Cuff Turtle needs to have her filter changed and her tank cleaned as well.

I’m going to start with the living room and work my way through the rooms of the house, getting rid of anything I don’t need, want, or isn’t working for me any more. I am hoping by letting go of some of my old junk, I can make space for good things to come in to my life… more happiness, success, love…. all the stuff that is more valuable and takes up less physical space!

Have you thought about what you can let go of?
