Kickstart the Cookie

Red Barn Bakery – Irvington, NY

As many of you know, I spent a good portion of my summer of 2011 helping my friend and neighbor Randell Dodge pedaling pies, tarts, cookies, and other delicacies at farmer’s markets and her Irvington bakery head quarters – Red Barn Bakery. I’ve written posts about her creations and how I even sold a blueberry galette to Natalie Portman (Read Here). I can’t say enough about her amazing creations which are all organic and use locally sourced ingredients. She also has a wide array of gluten free and vegan options. I guess word has gotten around, because the bakery is growing by leaps and bounds. Red Barn Bakery’s products are now not only at the Irvington location, various farmer’s markets through Westchester County, but also at Mrs Green’s Natural Food Markets!

But what about all of you who aren’t in the Westchester area?

Well now is your chance to get your hands on the baked goods I’ve been praising for years. Red Barn Bakery is looking to expand, and has launched a kickstart page in order to do just that. Please go on line and take a look at their kick start page and consider helping a local business provide organic treats to the world! Of course, you know if I had the money, I would pledge $2,500 just to have a cookie named after me…. The Souzapalooza Cookie.
